It’s a crispy and juicy recipe, and a little bit of heaven. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and with just the right amount of spice. These stuffed mushroom pakoras are different from the most common pakoras. It’s a big flavor and texture payoff for little effort.

In this recipe post, we will walk through what makes mushroom pakora special, how to make mushroom pakora with a step-by-step process, with photos and videos. I have shared it with basic ingredients.

What is Stuffed Mushroom Pakoda?

These crispy fitters are mainly prepared with fresh button mushrooms with cheese stuffing and then dipped in spicy batter, which is deep-fried until golden, crispy perfection. These mushrooms are stuffed with all yummy things like capsicum, onion, chili flakes, Sauce, peppers, and of course, my favorite cheese. Alternatively, the stuffing adds a choice of your vegetables like mashed potato, mashed peas, beans, chopped capsicum, etc. But the secret ingredient is cheese; don’t forget to add it to your stuffing. It gives a cheesy taste to the mushroom recipe.

This mushroom recipe is simple and tempting. It is ideal for a house party or a kitty party. With a cup of tea, this can be a delicious evening snack for everyone. If you have a plan for a party, the day before you can clean the mushrooms, properly remove the stems, and prepare your favorite stuffing. Keep the stuffing refrigerated overnight, and the next morning simply stuff and bake or fry the mushrooms. This will save you so much time when you have 100 other things to do.

The batter for this recipe is made using refined flour, corn flour, spices, and vegetable stuffing. I have used button mushrooms for this mushroom pakora recipe. However, you could use chestnut mushrooms or wild mushrooms if you preferred. But button mushroom gives the recipe a perfect texture, due to their size and shape. White button mushrooms have a milder taste.
